Introduction to the Product
I was first introduced to O.P.I. Nail Lacquer at a Nail Salon where I was getting a manicure. I noticed that all they sold was this particular brand of nail polish and asked them why. I was told that it was a quality product and the length of time that it stayed on nails was much better than the regular nail polish that you buy in stores.
Color Choice and Application
While browsing through the numerous shades, I came across a beautiful deep color by the name of Bogota Blackberry. That is the shade I chose to have my nails done in. I noticed while the manicurist was applying the polish, how smooth it went on my nails. One coat seemed like enough which is normally not the case with the store brands I usually buy. They did apply a second coat which made the color even more rich looking. The Nail Salon finished the application with a clear top coat.
Length of Wear
The color on my nails lasted a good week before I noticed any chipping. The other nail polishes that I have used have always started chipping within two or three days from all the typing on the computer that I do. I was quite impressed with O.P.I Nail Lacquer so when I went back to the Nail Salon, I purchased a bottle of this same shade for $7.50. A little pricey I thought but, worth it if I could get a good week of wear out of it.
Final Thoughts
I would recommend this product to other women out there who appreciate a large variety of colors to choose from and a longer length of wear time out of their nail polish. I would love to give this product a 5 star rating but since it can only be bought from salons and the price is a bit high, I am giving this nail lacquer a 4 star rating.
