Love my o cedar

I purchased this mop after my other one was worn out. I absolutely love it. I love being able to flip over the mop head to use the other side instead of having to change it multiple times. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I grew up using a swiffer mop in my household (my mothers choice of mop) and I would always hate the sticky feeling after the floor dried. Now that I am grown and on my own with my 2 kids and husband I always would get down on my hands and knees with a rag to "mop" the floor until one day out shopping I ran into this amazing product. I love the fact you can use which ever cleaning solution in the bottle and also how the pads are reusable! I have now had this mop for a little over 2 years and I will not ever use anything else I am going to be purchasing another here soon to have one on hand if mine ever breaks *knock on wood*. I did have one issue out of this but it was a simple fix, the valve at the bottom after a few months became clogged with residue of some kind and all that was needed done to fix the problem was clean the valve with a q tip. I definitely would recommend this mop to friends and family it is a god send! . And I just all around love it!!!

An effective quick mop!

I love my Cedar ProMist Dry or Wet Cleaning System because it is economical, eco-friendly, and easy to use. With two toddlers running around my house, I am always having to quickly mop up something. That's why this mop is great, it can be pulled out for a quick use, and can squeeze in to any corner and under tables. The reusable pads can be washed and continuously used. I highly recommend this quick mop!

Trigger stops working

1

Trigger stops working after 2nd to 3rd use. The trigger will slowly start to have no pull. I returned it many times for a replacement but every single one the trigger stops working at the 2nd to 3rd use. Finally I told the store I don't want this mop anymore and I replaced it with the reveal mop. Same exact thing happens and went through replaces it several times. This mop is worse because it doesn't even get the floor clean in the short time it did work. I'm back to my magic eraser mop. I will never buy a trigger spray mop again... Or a washable pad one.

Makes my mopping life easier.

This mop does it all - wet mops the entire floor without having to use a separate bucket; dry mops those unexpected spills. I fill the reservoir just once a month (this is enough fluid to last) and mop away. I found that by using only about 2 tablespoons of cleaner (your choice) you save on cleaning products. When you are done with your cleaning, just take the wet mop head off (it secures to the mop with hook & loop tape) and throw it in the washer and dryer. You're ready for the next round. This mop also comes with a dry mop head that connects in the same way. When it gets really dirty, just take that off and toss in the washer and dryer, too.

Very poor design and ineffective after twp uses!

After reading several reviews on this mop and mops that are similar, I chose to go with this one simply because it did not require batteries, had a reusable cloth, allowed me to use my own solution and overall it did not seem like a hassle like the Swiffer mops are. In the beginning it was nice, the trigger released the spray which shot out pretty fair considering it did not need any batteries, however by the third use it was not spraying much at all which rendered it fairly useless and ineffective. Some of the reviews I read had the same complaint, too bad I did not heed their warning. Now I am back to the old fashioned mop and bucket.

Satisified is an understatement.

I have wanted a "Swiffer-type" mop for years to do quick cleanings in between my hands and knees deep clean mopping which I do once a month. The problem with Swiffer is that I do not like the harsh chemicals and even read that the chemicals Swiffer uses are harmful to children and pets (not to mention us adults and the environment). Nor do I like their flimsy construction or disposable pads. When I first heard of the ProMist, I immediately bought it from Walmart. This was about a year before it was featured on Celebrity Apprentice. I liked the idea of adding my own cleaner and also of the ability to wash the pad after each use if so needed. I use natural cleaners in my mop, Murphy's Oil Soap, or just plain water. This mop glides so easily and its head swivels so you don't have to pull out all your kitchen chairs if you are in a hurry. The pad is lush, soft, microfiber. It attaches to the mop base with velcro, yet the velcro is NOT on the pad, so washing it with towels or other items is safe because there is no velcro to snag your clothes. The mop base and container that holds your cleaner is made very well and far from flimsy. The handle that squirts the liquid onto your floor is equally as sturdy and the liquid sprays out in an even, spread out direction. I know this may seem hard to believe, but mopping with this thing is actually fun! My kids were looking to make some extra chore money and asked if they could mop, afterwards they even told me that the mop was fun and easy to push! I highly recommend this product to anyone: whether you are a natural cleaner like me or whether you use the harsh stuff--this mop rocks! I don't wash the pad every time, however, I do notice that if I don't wash it after a few times, then it leaves a gummy residue from the previous cleaning in the corners of my floors (but that may be from my natural cleaner). Also, I only air dry my pad to aid in it's longevity. It drys super fast so no need to worry about waiting days to reuse it. Just a side note: if you are questioning this mop at all, just read the box! It has a satisfaction guarantee!

Love it!

After using a swiffer wet mop for years, I realized that whatever they put in the cleaner was making my floor sticky. So I went on a search for another swiffer type mop that I could use my own cleaner in. Viola! I found the O Cedar! This mop is great. I have hardwood, linoleum, and tile and this mop does it all. I put Murphy's Oil Soap in it for the hardwood floor. Then I switch it to lemon scented lysol for the other floors. I like the fact that I can buy the reusable pads and can wash them instead of throwing them away. They also have the disposable pads as well. Or you can even use swiffer pads on them. The only drawback is that I wish you could buy extra containers for the solutions so that I could keep one for my hardwood and one for the linoleum without having to pour one out. I would keep a backup and just switch them out. They may offer that now...I need to look into that. Anyway...Great Product!

This mop is a great idea!

Several years ago I bought a mop that you put a disposable pad on (like a Swiffer) and you snapped a can of cleaner on to it. Then you pushed a button and the cleaner sprayed out onto the floor and you mopped. Even my pre-teen daughter loved to mop with it. It was fun. However, the fun ended when they quit making the can of cleaner! Bummer. It rendered the mop completely useless. But now, O Cedar has made one very similar to it with one HUGE improvement: It has a tank that you put you own cleaner in! So you never have to worry about the cleaning liquid being available because you can use anything you want, even plain water. And you can use any brand of replacement pads on it because they all fit. Also, you can purchase a reusable pad that you can actually wash and put back on, so it is environmentally sound, too, if that matters to you. They say you can use it dry for a dust mop, too, like a Swiffer. That's the only drawback to it - it was a little awkward compared to a plain Swiffer dry mop and didn't get the corners as well as the Swiffer Dry. So I'm keeping my Swiffer Dry for that job, but now I can use my O Cedar instead of an old yucky sponge mop.
