We stayed at O Canada House about 4 years ago, in the Carriage House. Several people traveled together, so we also got to see a couple of the rooms in the main house. The Carriage House is back of the house, on the alley, and is a lovely "room" but is somewhat noisy due to location. We decided we wanted to stay at this B&B again, but in the main house. One of the rooms has a gigantic clawfoot tub; my friend LOVED this room!
May of this year, we had Police tickets for the opening show of the tour, and chose O Canada House for the weekend. We stayed in the North room on the 2nd floor of the house and couldn't have been happier. Lovely, quiet, private. Fantastic breakfast, something different each day.
Location is close to everything downtown (5 minutes to shopping, coffee shops, restaurants) and 10-15 walk to Yaletown and sporting events. Short drive to Granville Island or Stanley Park. Downtown Vancouver hotels all charge parking for their guests' cars, but at O Canada House, parking is free.
