I think cocatiels are wonderfull birds. They could be your best friend or your worst enemy. If you abuse them once, they will never forget or forgive, as I have heard. They come in beautiful colors and are Nice most of the time. He dances and can imitate sounds and words! They MAY bite strangers but are mostly nice birds.

I would not reccoment an older boy, If you get him while he is young he will love you
