I think cocatiels are wonderfull birds. They could be your best friend or your worst enemy. If you abuse them once, they will never forget or forgive, as I have heard. They come in beautiful colors and are Nice most of the time. He dances and can imitate sounds and words! They MAY bite strangers but are mostly nice birds.

I have been given 2 cocatiels that have not had alot of attention in the past. Do you think that I will ever get these birds to be comfortable with me so that I can get them out of their cage. Right now they get upset when I do anything inside of their cage so I just simple try to let them know that I will not hurt them and want to be their friend. Any suggestions on how I can work with these precious birds?
