Nymphicus hollandicus Cockatiel Review

I have never owned a bird until just last month... For my daughter's birthday, I bought her a parakeet.  She just loves her bird.  My son was jealous and wanted a bird... So he got a cockatiel... Then we ended up getting another parakeet... These birds are so much fun, although they are all 3 still scared of us.  I have been working with the cockatiel mostly... Who we call Pepe...Got some books on how to train them.... After only 3 or 4 days,  I have stopped the bitting... He still hisses at everyone else.... But I have been spending every evening after work with the cockatiel, and I think he is starting to feel comfortable with me.  I heard that they are very lovable birds, so I can't wait to see what this bird can do.... I would like to get him to say "Hello".  Hopefully, soon, he will be jumping on my finger to come out of his cage, and maybe talking.
