This is the go-to dog food for both of my fur babes. Tilly (1.5 y/o labrador retriever) nor Bow (4 y/o Lab/Pit/Shepherd mix) have ever had an upset stomach and always finish it all. Made with great ingredients and keeps them healthy!

Maybe my dogs are ALL spoiled? I am not sure...I had good friends steer me to this brand and I loved what I saw and read. I have seen commercials, ads, had coupons and friends used it! I was even able to talk to a representative in the store about the product. I did a gradual switch over to make sure our dogs did not get sick and tolerated the change. each dog vomited...had runny stools and my Golden refused to eat after that. After 3 weeks we decided enough was enough and we gradually went back to the Call of the Wild dog food. I liked that the ingredients were all natural...but I did not like the fact that SOMETHING was making my dogs sick. I did not like the fact that I found out Purina had bought out the previous company and had taken over this company. This disturbed me. I would not recommend this food if you have a dog with sensitive stomachs...I am very leery about what goes into my Kids and my Dogs!

My dog developed a case of Pancreatitus after eating this food. She was so ill that we made repeated trips to the vet for IV fluids and medication. She could not handle eating hardly anything except a few spoonfuls of prescription dog food. Bought different food (Wellness) after she was better. She has been thriving ever since. Do a computer search of this dogfood making dogs sick and you will see hundreds of complaints.

We have a Golden Retriever who has corn allergies and joint issues, as is common in her breed.  We discovered Nutro Ultra one day in the pet store when they had a representative there who talked to us about why their food was so much better.  I have to say, we really noticed a difference in her hair and her mobility after only a bag or two.  The Lineolic Acid works wonders!  She really seems to enjoy the taste too - although, she will pretty much eat anything you put in her bowl.  It is a bit on the expensive side, however, for a petfood that works so well to keep her in shape and keep her looking good, I think it's worth it.  We have also used the wet dog food from Nutro and she enjoys that as well.  The size of the bags is great, and it doesn't smell overly bad either.  I think it has given her more energy and definitely is better than the "Old Roy" that she was getting at her previous home.

I had fed my dogs Nutro Ultra Holistic for about 1 1/2 - 2 years without incident. Since Nutro's takeover by Purina, both dogs developed vomiting with emesis consisting of large amounts of undigested and partially digested food. anywhere from 30 minutes to 12 hours after the ingestion of a feeding. Switched to another brand of dogfood about 2 months ago and the problems have ceased. I had a bag of the Nutro Ultra Holistic biscuits which I decided to go ahead and use. I opened them 3 days ago and have found some Ol' Roy biscuits mixed in with them. I guess my point is that, do we really know what we're feeding. Has there been this significant of a change in the food formula?

I have used Iams dog food for a really long time, my husband's dog would turn up his nose at just about anything else.  There was the occasional Hills Science Diet and other dog foods, (especially when we are on a tight budget).  This week I was surprised at the grocery store to find that **Nutro Ultra Dry Food **was just about the same price as all other others that I would find acceptable for my dog so home it came.  What do I like about **Nutro Ultra Dry Food? ** - all natural ingredients  - no yucky dog food smell when serving  - doesn't attract ants like my other dog food did  - good for my dog  I was worried because Jack  (my Westie) has really dry skin and can be sort of a picky eater (except for when he is barking for a treat or people food).  I wanted something that would be good for him, help him keep up with his very active little body and that would taste great.  I admit the first day I served **Nutro Ultra Dry Food **he turned up his nose and wouldn't eat it.  I gave it to him again and I think he was just so hungry by then that he decided to try it.  Now he loves it. He barks in the morning to remind me (as if needed it since he is jumping up and down too) to feed him.   I also like that for some reason my other dog food would bring ants into the house, and this one doesn't attract them.   His skin seems to be getting better and he is enjoying his meals a whole lot more since I brought **Nutro Ultra Dry Food **home.  Quality of Ingredients All natural ingredients, no animal by-products. Flavor Selection My dog loves the flavor and gets excited to eat it.

Nutro Ultra is one of the best on the market.  If you have a picky dog, try this for them.  Everyone I have told about it, their dog will eat it.  Also, the Nutrition is great!!  Don't worry about the price ; you don't have to feed as much because the food is such good quality.

My two dogs have been eating Nutro Ultra Dog food from the very beginning!  My youngest, a 2 year old cock-a-poo bichon is on the adult formula and my 10 year old sheltie-terrier mix has just switched to weight management.  Of course, they want to eat the other's food but still, they gobble it right down!  Although it's pretty pricey, we love the natural ingredients and would never think about switching brands!

After Just 1/2 a bowl mixed with her old dog food poor thing had it comming out both ends for 2 days, I was really worried about her, am taking back the food and feeding her real food for the time being I hope she is ok don't feed this food to you dog.

I have to say this dog food made a big difference to my dog which I adopted from my Aunt - He was quite slow and unhealthy, but since I invested in this he seems much more healthy and lively. It certainly seems to have good quality ingredients and we have been taking him outside a lot more to exercise (before, he lived in a city). So between this Nutro dry food and the fresh air & exercise he is doing real good. Maybe it will get boring for him to eat dry food all the time, but for now it's going real good. It is slightly expensive but I am sure it will save on bills for healthcare as he is really much more healthy now. If you can find a good deal online, buy tonnes of it because your dog will love you for it! I just wish the prices were cheaper... PS Some reviews mentioned skin irritation - maybe it is just some kinds of dogs? We have had no problems.
