Guess my gals would rather have less healthy treats.

**NUTRO Natural Choice TRAINING BITS **are nothing if not healthy. Unfortunately, not every "kid" grabs most enthusiastically for the healthy treat. Here's the rundown on **TRAINING BITS**. Ours came in a 4 oz Value Pack. A smaller size and flavor varieties are available. * * * * *** ** ** Ingredients:***Beef, Rice Flour, Chicken Meal, Soy Flour, Modified Food Starch, Maple Syrup, Propylene Glycol, Molasses, Beef Tallow, Phosphoric Acid, Natural Smoke Flavor, Salt, Garlic Powder, Potassium Sorbate (a preservative), Potassium Chloride, Caramel Color, Mixed Tocopherols (source of natural Vitamin E), Calcium Carbonate, Zinc Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Niacin Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, *and *Vitamin D3*.*Supplement, Calcium Iodate, Menadione Dimethylpyrimidinol Bisulfite (source of Vitamin K activity).* ** * * * ** Sounds like something a dog mom would like, and I *do*. But Dolce and Shelby take these little flat bits -- so good for their healthy skin and coat -- and ingest them dutifully. There's no love here, and they just barely check for seconds. Frankly, I think the dogs' relative resistance has to do with the **TRAINING BIT **shape and texture. If you took posterboard and cut it into shapes roughly 3/4" X 1", you'd have the general size and cardboardy feel of these treats. When the kids toss them around in their mouths, they look uncomfortable. When they chew them, they seem bored. And asking for more? Well dogs have their instincts, don't they? Here at "Tuneful Farms", I think we'll stick with *Charlee Bears. *The pooches never tire of them, and at 3 calories each, I can be more generous. **TRAINING BITS **weigh in at 7.3 per bit and *your* dog may adore them.**
