this school is great! one of the last teaching hospital schools around.  the teachers are hard but also help you understand.  clinicals start the very first semester and continue until you graduate.  they have a full time 2 year day program and a part time 4 year evening program.  they are affiliated with fischer junior college to earn your associates. —… read full review »

Palm Beach Community College is a great school. The average classroom class is very small. The teachers are very competent and very helpful. PBCC provide the students with the tools and equipments to succeed. PBCC has a student learning center that really helps students achieve their best. All in all PBCC provides quality education at an affordable price. —… read full review »

West Suburban College of Nursing - Illinois

West Suburban College of Nursing - Illinois

MAY

West Suburban College of Nursing is such a bad educational experience that you may begin to doubt your choice of nursing as a profession. The instructor turnover is unbelievably high. A small number of the core instructors are competent, but the rest seem determined to intimidate and confuse the students. The faculty may be health care professionals but most are terrible teachers. Disorganization, last minute changes to tests and curricula, lack of guidance, it's a nightmare on a regular basis. Clinicals are totally unsupervised and in some cases very dangerous (psych clinical for… read full review »

Program can be very difficult to pass but also has a 99% pass rate for the NCLEX. Program is very competitive for entry. Classes are very structured, limited absences are allowed. Clinical experience is throughout community including local hospitals, home health agencies, local schools, Hospice, day cares. Instructors are required to continuing working in a clinical nursing environment while teaching and offer assistance throughout your time in the nursing program. The program is 4 semesters for full time with summers off. There is also a part time that continues throughout the summer so both… read full review »

CSU is a non-denominational Christian university of about 3,250 students.  I graduated from CSU in May 1998 in their first nursing class.  It was a challenging, but fun, program.  It fully prepared me for the profession of nursing, and I passed my national board exam the first time!  I recommend this program… read full review »

UNMC was a great school to obtain a bachelors in nursing. The faculity is exceptional and the facilities are beautiful. Having a research center and hospital affiliated with the program helps to not only bring in the newest ideas and technology but also gives it a name that helps with job searches later. After graduating from UNMC I easily found employment and HR recruiters who were impressed with where I graduated from. It was a very well rounded education in both the clinical aspect and the classroom lectures. The organization of the course workload was well organized with the… read full review »

I went to this school for along time, and in every semester the school would always be causing drama. Students would be given exams in advance by the own faculty and then acuse the students for cheating, then change the exam to RN levels exams that would make it practically impossible for and LVN student to pass. Even the teachers teaching the class we unable to pass the exams, the is soo much preference and unfair treatment at this school. This school should of been shut down along time ago, and they are constantly being sued.  the Anaheim branch is the school i attended to but the… read full review »

I am a proud grad of this school X2 - I finished my LPN back in 1985 and with the help of a hospital grant, I was able to complete my RN studies at the same school later on.  ALL my credits from any previous schools were transfered easily.  This school does not make you attend and pay for classes that do not pertain to your field of choice.  They also offered placement after graduation.  Their clinical staff/instructors do not constantly turn over - 5 years later, most of them were still there.  They also more than prepare you for you boards. — Looking for… read full review »

I was told that this is a great on-line school. My niece, vivi always wants to get the on-line degree for nurse. But i wonder can she get Bachelor or associate degree from Regency On-line Degree program at Tennessee? Will she get the RN license after this school? How does this school arrange for clinical hours for students? What's the requirement to enroll into the school?… read full review »
