I am a snobby gardener. I have great variety in my flower gardens, so every year I go looking for something new to catch my eye. The first time I went to Telly's I did my usual walk down the aisle pointing at each plant, "have that, have that, had that - didn't like it - got rid of it, have that, and then a miracle, don't have that, don't have that, what is that? Oh my gosh, they had all kinds of things I had never seen before. I was hooked. Every year, I find new things at Telly's - last summer I discovered their $1.00 perrenials. That's right $1.00. They are babies. Little versions of bigger plants (they were all little at one time you know). It's so you can try something out before you spend $15.00 - $50.00 on a bigger one. See if it grows in your soil, in your light, and do you like the way that it grows. What a splendid idea. I bought about 40 of them. What will I discover this year? Who knows - but I can't wait to find out.
