I found this bottle and decided to try it because of the handles. I thought it might make it easier for my daughter to hold. Since buying it, my husband and I have both fallen in love with it!! It came with a teething nipple which is really handy since my daughter is teething right now. It's also a "vari-flow" nipple, so she chooses how fast the formula will come out based on how hard she wants to work for it. I found these at the local walmart store. I thought what the heck, for 5.00 each I would give it a shot. Both of my twins love these feeders. It is light weight, and easy for them to hold. The handles are perfect for the grip of 6 month olds. They are able to feed themselves easily with this. The girls are now averaging about 3 jars of food each per day. It is so much better than using a spoon. Great news, the nuby set also came with a spoon that works on the vaccume system to teach them how to use the spoon without all of the usual mess. These transitional bottles are great! They don't drip unlike some other more expensive bottles. My little one had no problems adjusting to a new nipple. It was nice not to see formula running down her little neck. Being able to transition to a sippy cup is a great idea. It definitely saves you money in the long run.
