I was first introduced to Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred version 8 while in college and unexpectedly disabled. They allowed me to finish out my college career and research projects. I was unable to use either of my hands and can not imagine being as successful, especially with my independent & research projects, without Dragon Naturally Speaking.

After graduating as an Engineer, I notified my new employer of my physical requirements, and to my surprise they had never heard of Dragon Naturally Speaking (Preferred) which is Version 9 at this time, and where skeptical of the software's adaptability....
