My aunt wanted to start juicing and she had two of these blenders. When I made a smoothie for her the plastic pieces that rotate the blades broke (four of them in all) just snapped off. I thought it was my fault at first. Like I turned it too hard or something. Then the rest broke (not all by me) and I realized it was the machine. Great blender for smoothies. But the pieces will break apart on you. Blending Power It was a good blender. There were only a few chunks but overall good for smoothies. Ease of Cleaning Basic cleaning. There are a few parts but not too many. And you only have to clean the cups and lids with blades unless you spill. The machine doesn't touch the mess. Ease of Use Pretty easy. Just fill the cup, pop on the lid and turn. Design Black base, clear cups, black lids. Nothing too great about it. Durability Like I said, the plastic pieces that connect the blades to the motor on the blender broke. AND I thought it was all my fault which makes me more biased. So I DO NOT recommend this blender to anyone.

I was given this as a gift from my grandmother. She had ordered her one and got another one free. I first thought this thing is small & won't last. I thought I would try it out anyway because it was free :). I use it to help with food prep. It is small in size which is a bit deceitful at first. It has a lot more power than you expect. You can mix, grind and chop most things with it. It comes with 2 blades. One blade is for chopping and the other is a flat blade. It has two different containers. One is 8 oz. the other is 4 oz. The one complaint I do have is I wish that it had maybe a 10 or 12 oz. container. All together it comes with lids, containers, blades and base. It is small which makes it a great space saver. I do use it mainly for smoothies and milkshakes for the kids. I also get requests from family for homemade salsa and this little gadget works well for all the prepping to make the salsa. I use it at least 2-3 times a week to make the kids fruit smoothies.

I loved this product when it worked. I used it at least three times a week for about a year. Then it just quit working. Maybe I overused it but I didn't expect it to quit working so quickly. I was devastated when it broke. It was awesome for making my morning smoothies. Ease of Cleaning very easy to clean if you rinse when you are done using it. Durability Life capacity was way too short.

I initially got this with my nu-wave oven. I did not expect much from it, but I thought what the heck. I will try it. I will be a good sport. Wow! This blender is powerful. It is great for all your prep work! I almost love it as much as I love my nu wave oven. So much power, yet it is not overpowering. What a great product! The perfect compliment for your nu wave oven! NuWave Technologies Twister multipurpose blender lets me blast through food prep in seconds by doing the tedious work for me. This little guy does a lot. Don't let the size fool you. It has a lot of power and takes care of blending almost everything I put into it. I've chopped, ground, mixed and grated with this thing. It has both a flat blade and a chopping blade so it is pretty versatile. It also comes with an eight ounce and a four ounce canister with lids for each. This is my small problem with it. Eight ounces isn't a whole lot and I do wish there was a larger size container as well. It is a seven piece set. Aside from the canisters, lids and blades, you also get the power base. This is were all the magic happens. This little motor has lots of power. I've done nuts, cheeses, fruits, ice, as well as potatoes and other vegetables. I'm not big on vegetables but this chops them up nice and fine so I don't even know they are there.

The NuWave is small but that's what I like about it. It doesn't take up a lot of counter space but it's easy enough for me or the kids to pull out of the cupboard and whip up a smoothie or protein shake before our workouts. It is also amazing for omelets or soups and even salad dressings! I use it all the time and thank my mom so much for ordering two! I would recommend the NuWave to anyone who doesn't use a blender all the time and doesn't have a lot of counter space. I love it!

The NuWave Twister unfortunately suffers from feeling a little "cheap" when it comes to quality. It's a product that will have you wondering when it's going to break, and you'll worry about if you're being too rough with it at times. With that said, it does its job. You're able to grind up and blend most of the things you'd like without much effort. It works fairly simply: select a container, put in your food items, then select one of the two blade covers and screw it on. Then tip it upside down and put it in the base, and twist! It's worth noting that the manual states that you should **not **leave the motor going. Instead, you have to turn it to get it started, then turn it back after 3 seconds or so. So basically you pulse instead of using it like a blender. The cons of this product revolve around the plastic containers being too small to really make things in large quantities: it's no blender. The blades are built into the container's removable lids, so they can be fairly annoying to clean if you don't rinse them off right after use. All in all, it's a good product that works. I've been able to make my own smoothies and blend spices easily, so it's nice to have around.
