NuWave Oven —

I have fallen in love with my NuWave Pro Infrared Oven. And, why wouldn't I? It's compact and energy-efficient. It cooks fast and healthy. It cleans up quickly and easily. The food tastes great! What's not to love?

This oven, it appeared, could do it all-except purchase the food and serve it up!

and, the hits just keep on coming...

A few years back, my youngest son gave me the George Foreman Grillfor my birthday. Like the Foreman Grill, NuWave Pro grills meats without oil, up to 40 percent faster than a conventional oven and with much less heat. At the time I first used this marvel of modern-day cooking, it was in December, during the Christmas holidays and the winter with cold temperatures. A cooler kitchen did not impact me then as much as it does today. With temperatures already reaching into the upper 90s, even a few days at 100 degrees, a hot kitchen made hotter by preparing a meal in a conventional oven is the very last thing that I want. Add the high costs of cooling the average home, and it takes little imagination to understand why I so appreciate my nu best friend.

Yeah, But can it cook?

Can it cook? You bet your aunt betty it can cook! Not one, but two cookbooks came with it: one with easy, breezyeveryday recipes; another with healthy gourmet dishes fit to feed those possessing the most sophisticated palates. Chicken goes from freezer to plate within thirty (30) minutes. A baked potato that rivals any you'd prepare in the old conventional relic, in an hour; double stuffed is ready for the table in less than 1 and a half hours. Breaded sole or flounder for four cooks to perfection in 7-8 minutes, add an extra 5 minutes if frozen. A 2-lb. pot roast, leg of lamb, or pork roast is ready to serve in an hour to 1 and two-thirds hours. Vegetables from corn on the cob to sweet potato casserole or zucchini & onions au gratin rounds out the perfect work week dining. Top it off with a pineapple upside down cake or low cal cherry pie. All cooked to order in this nifty little oven.

Those are a few of the regular type meals you'd expect to put on the table any old Monday or Thursday, but what about those fancy gourmet meals you mentioned earlier, you ask. Well, let me tell you. Got a taste for some sausage stuffed mushrooms or a meat crust pizza? Got 10 minutes to spare? Then, you've got ‘em. What about creamy chicken breast with apple and avocado or mushrooms and peppers? Either is done in 13-15 minutes. Pepper or Florentine style steak or pork chops with mustard sauce is done in 7-12 minutes, depending upon your preference for rare or well-done. By the way, neither of the above has a single carb, for you health-conscious eaters.

Oh, let's not forget dessert. If you like cheesecake, an 8 and a half x 1 and a half-inch confection to serve 8 with only 58 carbs per serving is delectable and ready in an hour.

Will I need to be an Einstein to assemble this dynamic little invention?

Nope. Even I could do it (and DID)!

You have a choice of two models: either the one with digital control panel (NuWave Pro / digital) or the one with manual control dials (NuWave Oven / analog). My son knowing me as well as he does got mine with digital controls.

PARTS/ASSEMBLY
1 Power head with handles
1 Transparent dome
1 Cooking rack (adjustable for 1" or 4" height)
1 Liner pan
1Dome holder
1Base

Before using, wash all parts (except power head) in warm soapy water or clean in the dishwasher (yep, it's dishwasher safe-all but the power head, of course). Never wash or immerse power head in water or in dishwasher. Just clean the outer surface by wiping carefully with a damp dishcloth or sponge.

Then, place base on a firm stable surface. Place liner pan inside base. Place dual level cooking rack on the liner pan according to cooking requirements. Place food on the cooking rack, then the dome over the food and on to the base. Place power head into the rim of the dome and lock it into place. Plug it into outlet, set cook time and power level according to cooking instructions, and you're good to go!

LAST WORD

Would I recommend this wonderfully convenient, energy-efficient, quick-cooking little wonder? You better know it!
