Novimex Fabric Task Chair Review

About the Novimex Fabric Task Chair Purple

They make this chair in other colors but why would anyone want another color? lol. This chair is fabric covered and has padded armrests. There is lots of purple on this chair from the fabric to much of the metal tubing. Very striking. The chair features pneumatic seat adjustment, a five point arched metal base for stability, and 360 degree swivel. There is a tilt tension adjustment in the back and the chair rests on big, heavy castors which are color coordinated. Whee. This chair comes in black, orange, apple green, and my purple.

For those who are size conscious, this chair is 34.75to38.25 x24.5Wx23D". For me, this is roomy and comfortable. The set is very nicely padded as is the back and I like that the armrests are padded as well. The chair rolls around great and swivels with no tugging or skipping. The tilt tension control is very good as well. I don't like a lot of tilt because I fear I will lean back, tip over, and die so I keep the tension high. This chair does all I want and looks so cool.

The only issue I had was that assembly was required and I am not one to assemble anything. My husband put it together and it didn't take very long for him to have the chair ready for use. I bought it for my away from home office but I like it so much, I am keeping for my home office. I am sitting on the chair as I type this and am comfortable and very happy with my purchase. I paid about $89.00 for the chair but it goes on sale now and then, I was told. I think the chair is well worth the full price no matter what color it is. The purple is just a pleasant extra for me because I am a freak for the color.

My Viewpoint

This chair may look like a toy but it is very well made. It has all the features you would expect on a task chair plus padded armrests, bigger and better casters, and is super comfortable. I am going with 5 stars. It isn't an executive type chair but, for what it is, it's awesome.
