Norwegian Cruise Line - Sun Review

The Sun was a beautiful ship.  It has the amenities that one would expect from a large cruise line:

• Excellent shopping - even some unexpected good deals!
• Nice casino - can be very smoky if that bothers you, be fore warned!
• Excellent entertainment - on board entertainment was definitely worth checking out!
• Nice selection and variety of on board activities especially during days at sea - everything from movies, to dance lessons, lectures, and game competitions
• Spa and work out rooms were top notch
• The food - very good.  To be honest, I have had better food on some other cruises, but the food on the Sun was certainly tasty! (It must have been - I gained 5 pounds!)
• The service - over all very good.  The free-style atmosphere means that you don't have the same servers everyday and in some cases, I noticed a different service level in the dining room perhaps because of that.  The service was still very good though - just not excellent as it is on some cruises.
• Ports - excellent.  We went to Roatan, Honduras; Belize City, Belize; Cozumel, Mexico; and a Private Island in the Bahamas.  A highlight for me was going on a zip-line 280 feet in the air in the rain forest in Belize!  This was just one of many excursions from which to choose.  There was an excellent variety of shore excursion choices in all price ranges and activity levels - truly something for everyone.

 Overall I would rate this cruise Very good and recommend it to everyone.  It was a great value for the price and definitely a fun time!
