Worst cruise I have ever been on by far!!

This was by far the worst cruise I have ever been on! I have been on alot of cruises, including carnival, princess, and other ncl ships, and ncl is by far the worst. The last ncl we went on, our room had flooded with sewage water, and it smelled horrible. They told us they could not give us another room, but after 4 days of complaining, and not being able to stand the smell, they finally gave us one. I thought that was strange that somehow they had a room after 4 days into the cruise! Anyway, we decided to try them again, I don't know why, I guess I thought that that was just a one time bad experience. I was wrong!!! I will never go with them again! When we arrived, our room was not clean to say the least! There was visible poop splattered on the inside of our toilet, food crumbs on the floor, a dirty towel on the sink in our bathroom, and pizza hut plates on the vanity with food on them. We called the cleaning lady, and kept calling, and it was not untill we went to the front desk and complained, that the housekeeping manager came down and brought the cleaning lady with him. He gave all kinds of excusses, that they were so busy, and had been working since 6 am, had lots of calls, bla bla bla... Well, they do this eveyday of the week, come on! The cleaning lady was so rude, and said, I already vacumed the room! I said, well there is poo on the toilet! She said fine I will clean the sh*t off the toilet, and yes in those exact words!And not saying it just one time, she kept saying, "I will get my bucket and clean the sh*t!" I was so shocked, that she talked to me that way, and with the manager right there. He just stood there and did nothing! As the week went on things just got worse! We then did not even have a cleaning lady. When we talked again to the manager, he said, we don't normally come in every night, unless you ask us too. I was like.....um no.... I know better than that. I asked the lady at the front desk if this was true, and she said definately not true, and she would talk to him. Day 4 still no cleaning person for us. I started throwing my dirty towels out in the hall, and just asking any cleaning peron I saw for new ones. I was furious! When you pay alot to go on a hawaiian cruise, you should get a nice, and memorable trip. Well it was memorable all right, but all bad! We were so dissapointed in this trip! The food was not good, so we went and paid the extra to eat in the other dining rooms, that you have to pay extra for. We found that alot of other people felt the same way. We had booked a tour before we got on the ship, only to find out that when we got on, and they gave us the statement showing us what the cost would be, and it was for way more than we agreed to on line. The tour guide behind the desk, said well the online price was a miss print. I said well they should still honor that price. It was only a difference of 40 dollars for all 4 of us, but they would not adjust the price, and just argued with us over it. So we cancelled. They almost tried to give us a hard time about that too, because it was just under the 24 hour notice time frame, but there was absolutely no one at that desk the day before, and we could not have cancelled. When we pointed that fact out, he relentlessly gave us our refund. He was horribley rude about it! We were so upset, as this was a tour we really wanted to do. As it turned out, It was the best thing we did! We got the same tour (the molokini snorkeling tour) for half the money from a place called blue water rafting company on maui. They were absolutely wonderfull. Very personable, and we got to go see whales close up too! They not only took us to both the front and back of molokini, but took us to a reef, that was the most awesome snorkeling ever! I would highly reccomend them! We have been on alot of cruises, and ncl was the rudest, and no one seemed to care. Every day out by the pool, we had no service. You would see them standing around with their other waiter friends talking, and just walking around. We talked to alot of other people who felt the same way. No one wanted to wait on anyone. When I asked some of the waiters, they said, " yea we are kind of short staffed" But yet we would see groups of them standing off in a corner, just talking and not doing anything. There were a few times where people would complain about a broken glass on the deck, or spilled food, and it would sit there for hours. We would see workers walk by, look at it and keep going. Never coming back to clean it up. Several people got really mad They had stopped people going by, asking them to clean it up. They would say they would come back and do it, but never did. My husband ended up cleaning it up himself, so noone would get hurt. The entertainment was also not good at all! I would say there was one show, the whole week that I kind of liked. The rest were really terrible. I could go on and write a book, but enough said! I would not go on NCL again, and hope this will make someone else think twice about booking with them.
