Yes. You can adjust the "service charge" as they call it. A day before disembarkation ask the reception to provide you with the form to adjust the service charge You can decide how much you want to give.
As for the food, we loved the tremendous variety of food available both at restaurants and buffet. There's a lot of asian, indian , persian, arab food, all fabulous. We never had a meal at the "specialty restaurant's" where there is a cover charge. The main dining rooms offer great variety in their menus , with vegetarian and low fat options all the time, at lunch and dinner. We don;t have a signle compnain about the food in the Pearl. We have been at 5 NCL cruises and he food and the freestyle are the reason we come back agaian and again.

Did you try to get your gratuities changed at the end? We are thinking about the Pearl only because of the many unique ports that it goes to. We have always cruised RCCL before & loved them. I was told that at the end of the week, you could complain about your tips & they would credit you......is this wrong?
