Norwegian Cruise Line - Dream Mexico Review Summary
Norwegian's Dream is one of their older ships meaning it doesn't have as many amenities as their newer ones. It does still offer Freestyle dining, kids programs and the same service as their other ships. The Mexico sailing stops at Progresso, Yucatan, Cancun, and Belize giving the cruisers a nice variety of Ports to visit. A Viewpoint cruiser felt,"The spa services were wonderful and the food was very good" and felt there were a lot of children on board.

DO NOT GO ON THIS SHIP. MY GRANDMOTHER WAS ON THIS SHIP AND SLIPPED BY THE POOL. THEIR STAFF REFUSED TO OPEN THE MEDICAL CENTER FOR HER. WHEN THEY WERE FINALLY FORCED TO THEY TOLD HER SHE SPRAINED HER ARM (WHEN SHE CLEARLY TOLD THEM IT WAS HER NECK AND NOT HER ARM THAT HURT) AND WOULD NOT TREAT HER ANY FURTHER, THEY LEFT HER FOR OVER 24 HOURS WITH A FRACTURED SPINAL CORD WHEN SHE WAS FINALLY OPERATED ON HER NECK WAS IN HER BACK AND SHE IS NOW ON LIFE SUPPORT AND MAY NOT MAKE IT.

This ship is older and smaller than the newer ships. It offered good service and Norwegian Cruise lines offers Freestyle dining which allows you to chose when and where you want to eat which is more convenient than conventional cruise dining.
This particular cruise was over the Thanksgiving break and we felt that the ship was over crowded, they were sold out and there were many, many children. If booking this cruise I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony for the fresh air, more space and views from the room. The ports of call included Progresso, Yucatan, Mexico; Cancun, Mexico...
