Norwegian Cruise ship the Dawn was exceptional in it's service.

Pros

    great trip with parents/grandparents, great way travel with kids, crew was exceptional, treat you like royalty, easy way to see beautiful cities, great way to travel with friends, fun, fun ship

Cons
    the little extras add up to a big bill, Fixed gratuities on your bill, drinks are a bit pricy

I sailed on the Norwegian Dawn to the Hawiian Islands.  We visited 6 islands in 11 days.  The service on the ship was exceptional and anything you wanted was delivered to you within a short span of time.  This is a ship that is good for family vacations as well as couples or singles.  There is always something to do, you are never bored.  The employee's of the ship kept the kids under control whether in the kid's club or at the pool.  I have traveled on 6 different ships with 4 diferent cruise lines and I have to say the kids were always busy with something to do on the Dawn.  I love the free style cruising where you go to dinner anytime you want.  One night we went early becaue we had been on the ship most of the day.  The next night we went to late supper because we had been touring all day and wanted to get in a nap before supper.  This kind of freedom is awesome.  It means you can eat where you want and what time you want.  Out of the eleven days we had to wait on 2 days to be seated, but the wait was less than 10 minutes.  I really enjoyed the trip and give "HIGH KUDO'S" to each and every employee on he ship.
