Norwegian Cruise Line - Dawn Review

Just returned for 7 day ny to bermuda trip. 2nd time cruising with ncl last year was on the Spirit had at GREAT experience!! The Dawn however was like ruising with a whole other cruise line one that you might want your worst enemy on for that would truely be sweet revenge!! Staff and Crew RUDE< Distant and basically uncaring. There were 10 of us in our party 4 cabins all on the 10 deck room size was ok , house cleaning seemed to pick and choose what room they would clean and when had to constantly ask for towels they removed out pool towels and never returned them. 1st day found bed bugs had to have an exterminator come in room door lock broke and was repaired at least 3 times during the 7 dayssafe lock also not working. If you had allergey your were screwed DUST in the room piled high, I think all they do after each crusie is change the linens ans spray the bathroom. Buffet HORRIBLE, Venician and Aqua food was ok but they share the same exact menu so really whats the point? Salsa by far the best free dining area. Cagneys the best with a cover. NO active during the day unless you enjoy seminars, they got shopping, port,& future cruise seminars they have yoga pilates how to lose weight classes all the things you want to do while sailing the seas right? oh lets not forget BINGO every ship had BINGO, casinos a rip off only good thing is you can now get free drink while you gamble til 1:00 AM. Excursions way over priced heres a tip don't book through NCL when you get into Port there s a women there with maps and schedules and shell tell you everything you need to know , believe me you'll save a bundle we did a beach day total for 6 people bus beach and luch less then $70 same thing through NCL $69 per adult $( per child and you had limited time at the beach. they are THIEVES!! shows were bareable nothing spectacular,9Spirit had better entertainment better food better stay) so basically during they day they give you little to no activites but theres bartenders chasing you down at every corner offering you drinks. NCL should drop the "Freestyle cruising" phrase and be honest with "we'll keep you boozed up that you'll eat anything even our BUFFET" I'm in my 40's had along with me my husband 3 teenagers 2 sisters and my oldest daughter's family they are in thier 20's with a 3y. so our group ran the age gamet and NOBODY had a good time well except my 14yr old son who basically hung out with the kids meet the girls but even he'll tell you the food was horrible! Security on the Ship believe they are the KGB what they say goes heard of at least 4 incidents where they removed people from the ship for very very minor incidents Hope all those people get themselves lawyers get refunds and crusie with a real cruise line like HOLLAND or even ROYAL Carribean.If your booked on this ship my advise would be try and get a refund ASAP If I could talk to the head of NCL I would suggest he does a complete sweep of the staff on the Dawn from Captain on down and start over because this ship is a disaster waiting to happen, remember people you heard it hear first!
