Northwest Herald Review

The Northwest Herald is delivered here in McHenry County, but it does not always cover local McHenry County news. They often forget to write about local events, like festivals over the summer. This really makes me sad, because they used to cover local things much more thoroughly. I used to be able to just rely on them to find out which festival activities were taking place when. I LOVE going to all the summer parades, fireworks, and other various festival activities in the county, but have had more trouble getting the information I desire about them now that the newspaper hasn't covered them as well. I do enjoy this newspaper, and I think I will always have a subscription to their paper, but I do truly wish they would focus on local events the way the have in the past again. That's the point in getting a local paper is to get the local news! I now have to get multiple newspapers to achieve the wants I have from a newspaper, where I used to only need one.
