Northwest Airlines Review

Prior to our trip, we read some of the reviews here at Viewpoints.  We were worried that the service we'd prevously received from Northwest had deteriorated.  Thank goodness that was not the case.  All 5 of our flights were on time, boarding was prompt and courteous, onboard staff was efficient and kind.  While we miss the food being included in the cost of the ticket, we have become used to bringing our own.  Checking the NWA site daily allowed us to lock in a very reasonable ticket price (much lower than those quoted on Orbitz and other comparison sites).  The price listed was the final price (no "secret" additions).  We even received two free roundtrip tickets and a nice dinner for offering our seats to an elderly couple needing to get to our home city for a funeral.  We arrived  home less than 2 hours later than originally planned...not a bad trade, I'd say.
