Pouring the 12oz bottle requires a little coaxing to get the head to appear, but once it starts watch out! It's thick, rocky, and golden-brown. Head retention is good and a lace lays tracks down the glass.
Appearance is pitch black - all available light is eagerly consumed by this beast. After it's poured allow it to warm up - should feel closer to room temp than fridge temp. It will really open up the flavors and aromas.
