Being Italian I have a love affair with garlic. I've always just roasted garlic in aluminum foil until I used this at a friends house and was totally unimpressed. The results were the same as if I had placed the garlic with a bit of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and wrapped it loosely in aluminum foil and sealed. Except that the garlic stuck to the bottom of the Norpro Garlic Baker. Aluminum foil requires NO clean up!

Sure you can save money by using foil, but thats for a barbeque. Not for home cooking indoors.
