Nordstrom Rack - Chicago, IL Review

Okay, so I love to shoe shop. I have LOTS of shoes but I can always seem to find a place in my closet for another pair. :) The terrible thing is that I have transferred this passion onto my kids. At ages 1.5 and 3, they each have at least 3 pairs of shoes each. Oh, my! What kind of mother am I?

When I have a bad day or a desire for new shoes, Norstrom Rack is my place to shop. Why?

1. I know they have a large selection of my size. I wear a size 6 which is often very hard to find (even at Nordstrom). So, I can instantly walk into Nordstrom Rack and see all my options in one place. I normally walk out with at least 3 pairs!

2. I can get multiple pairs of shoes for the price of 1 or 2. For example, on my recent shopping spree, I bought 3 pairs of coach shoes and 1 pair of PUMAs (for my daugher of course) for $250. What? Yes! What a bargain. If I were at Nordstrom (normal Nordstrom), I would have paid $250 for one pair of shoes and 1 pair for my daughter. So, I basically got 2 pairs for free! Other deals: Ferragamo's for $60. Frye's for $75.

3. They have a good shoe selection for kids. They have everything from Tevo to Crocs to Naturino to Ecco. I love buying my kids unique shoes that are made well at discount prices. They are normally cheaper at Nordstrom Rack than they are at Target-- and much better quality. Example: I bought my son a pair of Naturino shoes that were $125 for $30. Good deal!

I mostly spend my time at Nordstrom Rack in the shoe area. (whether it is for mens, womens or kids). However, on occasion, I will sort through the clothes and I always find something cute for cheap. They have good suits, a nice selection of Men's clothing (always find Ben Sherman there-- fits my hubby well) as well as good purses.

A must have on the shopping list if you arent shopping for anything specific but need to fill a shoe craving!
