I have had a treadmill before that was totally borning.  But my Nordic C2060 allows me to choose a number of custom programs to provide variation in my daily workout.  The belt is cushioned resulting in less stress on my body and especially my knees.  It gives a continuous readout so I will know how long I have walked, how far I have walked, and how many calories I have used in each exercise session.  The program allows you to run or jog for a period and then ends with a cool down routine of slow walking.  I have experienced an increase in my stamina and my sense of well being sine I have started using this device.  It provides a very convenient method of exercise that you can do while watching your favorite TV program or listening to music on my IPod.  You don't have to worry about the weather outside because you can exercise in the comfort of your home.  I would strongly recommend this model to anyone who wants to improve their physical conditioning.
