I just recently purchased this treadmill and I do like it - but have always purchased the Proform.  For the money - the Proform is by far the best buy.  The Nordic Track is a good treadmill - but I just do not feel that the extra money you pay on it is worth it.  My treadmill has the jack where you can plug in your iPod and after two months use, the jack split in half.  I was not taking out the plug each day - so was certainly not from use that caused it to break so quickly.  I have not called Nordic Track yet to have it repaired - so may have a totally different view on their repair service once I have that completed, also.
