Quick View: Somehow, I manage to lose measuring cups and spoons like I lose socks in the dryer. I really don't know where they go. I bought this set from the HearMore.com website. These are actually for the sight impaired with large measurements and high contrast but they are darn good for everyone!

About the NorPro 12 Piece Measuring Set with Cups and Spoons

This set is made to be seen easily by those with compromised vision. The cups and spoons have a black strip on the handles with large white measurements, making it very easy to see what cup or spoon you need. This is a durable plastic set and connected by a ring, which means I either lose all or none. For me, the odds are even. lol. You can obviously remove or open the ring to use just one spoon or cup.

The measuring cups come in six sizes from 1/4 to one cup size. The spoons come in six sizes from 1/8 of teaspoonful to one tablespoon. They have long handles for easy use and wash well in the sink or dishwasher. I do not have a sight impairment. I was visiting the wonderful HearMore.com website looking for a few items for my hearing impairment when I spotted this set for just $7.95. I was very pleased when they came boxed and very durable. They are so easy to use, I don't know if I can go back to hard to read measuring utensils!

These things are very sturdy as well. You can manhandle them, drop them, and toss them around and they stay looking great. They're simple but they do the job and make measuring so easy. Why NOT see easily what spoon or cup you need if it is an option?

The price for both sets together is only $7.95. You can't beat it. I love these measuring cups and spoons and have purchased a big two cup clear measuring cup with the same type of high contrast markings from the same site. (See photo, review coming!). I like not straining to see stuff! And I don't even wear glasses, I'm just old. (Mid 40's is old, don't let anyone kid ya!)

My Viewpoint

The NorPro 12 Piece Measuring Set with Cups and Spoons isn't a fancy set but it's functional, durable, and makes measuring easier. I use these all the time and really like them better than my old stainless steel set. Hot or cold items can be measured in these and the high contrast measurements along with the long easy to grip handles make everything easier and I am all for making anything easier to do. 5 stars. You can buy these at www.hearmore.com but they also may be available elsewhere. I have not looked around. They're a great buy!
