good basic phone

By

from New York, NY

Comments about Nokia - Cell Phone:

I was looking for a simple phone, filling out the basic functions (calls and SMS) and having a good autonomy. Greatly appreciating the Nokia brand, I bought the 2720. I am generally satisfied: the sound is good on appeal (without exception), the menus are simple to understand architecture and make the use easier, it seems to have a good battery life and captures well the network. It is light but the keyboard is very comfortable to dial a telephone number or writing an SMS. The photo function is anecdotal but I was not looking for a beast of fight in this area. The external screen (hidden under the paint of the hull) is very convenient. I'm just a little disappointed by the quality of manufacture, since the valve has a little play (especially when it is closed). But it remains a good buy, considering its price. For a very affordable item,it is very effective. I recommend it to anyone who needs a phone simple and convenient.

The Nokia 2720 one of the best dump phones around

By

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Nokia - Cell Phone:

The Nokia 2720 is overall a good phone. The display is quite impressive. Its a flip phone which at one time was popular. However the Nokia 2720 exists in a world that is all about of the smart phone. I mean dumb phones are becoming obsolete. The Nokia 2720 have features that would have been incredible 5-10 years ago. This phone is definitely not worth the price I have seen offered at most prepaid outlets. This phone is worth about 9.99 any more is just an outrage to pay. I believe the only other problem that the Nokia 2720 has is that its memory is limited to around 9- 10 megabytes total. The worse part about it is that it has no way to expand this memory either. Once its full its full. Unless you want to delete things from your gallery which some things are impossible to delete. Another good thing about the phone is that it speaker phone is really reliable. I'm sorry but I think it is curtains closed for the Nokia 2720 and other phones of its type. Say good bye to the dumb phone.

Nokia 2720 is an okay phone

By

from Navarre, FL

Comments about Nokia - Cell Phone:

I actually received this phone free through AT&T when signing a two year contract.  It replaced my Motorola Razr phone which I had for about 3 years which was finally wearing out.  I was told by the AT&T representative that this was one of the best phones on the market.  I have to say that it is an okay phone so far. My main complaint would be that the person on the other end of the phone sometimes sounds muffled.  This is especially true when I talk with a friend of mine who has the exact same phone.  The reception is just not that clear.  I  wanted a cell phone for the basics of calling and sometimes taking pictures.  I do not text or use Bluetooth so I can not comment on how the phone is with these features.  I will keep the phone for now since it was free and see how it goes.  However, if I was looking for a phone to purchase, I would comparison shop and see what other options were available.

Fun Phone!

By

from Comer, GA

Comments about Nokia - Cell Phone:

I recently purchased this phone refurbished from my wireless provider. The price was definately right at 5.99. Wow! This is the first flip phone I have had in a long time and I had forgotten how much I like the flip phone. First, it's a bigger phone than I had and I like that because it fits well in my hand and is long enough to reach from ear to mouth. The buttons are large and easy to read. It's simple and not complicated. You can type in a a number and hit a button and that's it. Simple, no frills. I use my phone to make calls, not text. I decided to simplify my life and I got rid of my cool cell phone with all the features for this one that costs me a fraction of the price. The camera is okay, but not something that makes great pictures and I would think it would be difficult to use for internet connections because the screen is tiny. It works great as a phone to make good old fashioned phone calls on. This is what I use it for and I am well pleased.
