I bought the Nokia 6085 phone simply because my other phone had been damaged, and I needed a new phone quickly. I walked into the AT&T store, and told the sales person that I wanted the cheapest phone they had. He showed me the phone and I bought it. Then, I started to play! I found out that this phone has a voice recorder, and so I am able to record something (like my child singing) and I can then make it a ring tone! It takes short videos, and I am able to take decent photographs with it. It is a very durable phone - I have dropped it numerous times, and have had no problems with it. The speakerphone is a little less than stellar, but is still pretty good. The only major complaint that I have about it is that it tends to have a delay when you are wanting to do anything on it. I press a button, and there is a 5 second delay before it will take me to the menu, or to a sub-menu. It starts to get annoying after a while. Other than that, though, the phone is a decent, reliable, and cheap phone, and I would recommend it for anyone that doesn't want all the bells and whistles of the other phones.
