A phone that makes phone calls.

4

Who would have thought that you would buy a phone to make phone calls. Some phone buyers do not realise that they spend a lot of money buying small computers that try to do everything. If I wanted a GPS I would have bought one, but I want to make phone calls so I bought a phone. Incidentally, I also own a GPS and I do not believe that relying on one device is the way to go. This phone is bargain priced, has good, not brilliant battery life, makes phone calls and is not a computer. It does not take a degree to be able to use it and after dropping it a few times it has kept working. I will buy another Nokia. The user interface is great and I don't believe in paying for things that I don't use.

This is really a budget phone to phone intended for people who do not have the interest or to money to spend a lot on a phone. I do have some other big-name phones at the moment but I can definitely understand people who have the mentality of not wanting to spend too much on their cell phone. After all cell phone technology has been increasing pretty rapidly lately and there is no point of getting the best phone win in a years time from now it will be replaced by something much better. A phone like this would do what you need to do. That is, it will allow you to talk to important people they need to talk to and it will allow you to receive calls when you need to receive calls. Regardless of what anyone says that is really the bottom line of a cellular phone. The quality is really really good and this phone has never quit on me at any point.

good first phone for teenagers

this was my 12 year old's first cell phone. It was perfect for her. It had a slide feature that she liked very much, and it was perfect for her texting needs. She liked the versatility and the sound quality. She did not like the ringtones provided, however she downloaded her own. She liked the call quality and I  think that is the most important part of a phone besides the texting capability. I recommed this phone to anyone looking for a simple phone or anyone that has a young child looking for a first cell phone.

best budget phone

I was looking for a phone that is both efficient, accessible and low price level that has a good battery. The Nokia 2330 perfectly meets my expectation. As I mentioned before I wanted a cheap phone so it is a No-frills compact phone, very aesthetic and very fast to use. The main goal is to make calls without having to wander through endless menus. The sound is very clear reception and transmission, the person can hear you clearly. The screen is large enough for visual comfort. There are also good numbers of common applications of Nokia, which is reassuring and avoid everything . Very good battery life. Vibration, Bluetooth, camera, FM radio (with the supplied headphones) .  Finally, small phone that is primarily used to call, then if you still have some time before you surf the web with . So I will surely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap efficient phone with some decent entertainment features .Definitely a 5 star at its price

Decent free phone but missing the bells and whistles

If your looking for the latest and greatest in techincal advances in your cellphone this is not the phone for you. However, If your like I was and looking for a decent phone with not alot of complexity and extra features this may be what you are looking for.  When I first bought this phone I had looked at several websites for reviews, One website stated this phone had a built in Am/Fm tuner which I was trilled about. So I ordered the phone. Upon receiving this phone I has highly disappointed to see that there was no am/fm tuner with this device. That being said its a fantastic little phone with the best battery life I have ever seen on a phone. I am a daily user of my cellphone and talk on it roughly 2-3 hours a day. I often go 4-5 days before having to recharge this phone. I would recommend this phone to a friend but with hesitation because it does not compare to the iphone or blackberry. This is a classic style phone with a few upgraded features such as a decent little camera.

Well over all Nokia 2330 is a very good phone. It has tons of things to do. The calender is awesome, as is the alarm clock, and the games. The camera is my best friend cause im like a teenager lmao. Also I love love love the messaging. The predicted text is amazing because I've never had any problems with it except sometimes it deletes my words? Its odd. Oh and it takes so short a time for the Internet to load which is amazing!! The keypad looks like it would be a pain but its really quite awesome. It kind of like bubbles out just perfect for your fingers. Haha. I have some problems with multiple paged texts. Like if someone sends me a two page text I might not get the second half till an hour later or most of the time tomorrow. Its odd I tell you. Over all its a very good simple, mostly reliable phone. I definatly recommend it as maybe a first phone? Its pretty basic so its good for kids or older people who arent really used to them.

Worst phone I've ever had

1

I normally go for whichever phone is free or cheapest. Out of 4 cellphones I've owned, the Nokia 2330 is the worst I've ever owned (and I've only owned Nokia phones). The buttons have a delay, so whenever you press a button in the menu, it takes a second for the display to respond. Also, the phone has this weird and random idiosyncracy where the screen lights up for no reason and stays on, draining the battery. At first I was wondering why my battery life was so poor. Then I realized the phone was lighting up for no reason, and that is what was draining the battery. Also, it's very hard to hear this phone when there's any noise, and especially in the car. It also seems to pick up a lot of road noise and people have a hard time hearing me when I call them on the road. I think I'll think twice before going for the free phone.

When I first got this Nokia phone about 5 months ago I was not thrilled with it but, I figured a phone is a phone. I guess I should have forseen the trouble when the sales person told me that this was an "economy phone. In the 5 months that I have owned the Nokia 2330 cell phone I have already had to have the phone replaces once. The first phone I had to have replaced after 3 months because I kept having people on the other line tell me that I was either yelling at them or that they could not hear me at all. The second problem I had with this phone was that I did not seem to get reception anywhere (not even in my own home) even though I checked the coverage in my area and it said I had great coverage. So if that was not enough, they sent me another replacement phone and now I am having similiar problems with this phone. I get poor reception in areas that I shouldn't and my phone will not charge. I have to mess with the charger for a good ten minutes before I can get it to even start charging. Once I finally get the phone charging I, under no circumstances, can move the phone or it stops charging again and I have to repeat the same process.
