nokia: simple & ineffective, buttons lose use, it really sucks

this phone is simple, laid out well & perfect for someone who doesn't care about it getting beat up, old & ugly too quickly. the buttons lose their use, the phone just deteriorates looks terrible & starts functioning badly.
if you're not technologically friendly & just want it as a sometimes useful emergency tool
go for it, for anybody else it's not worthwhile

This handset is sound and durable but awkward to use.

technology lover, a bargain hunter, simple is good, budget conscious, a mobile phone user, pc-user, willing to pay more for quality, into trying new things

This was my very first phone and its lasted about three years even after many mishaps like dropping the handset and getting it wet the phone still gave me good service until now. Now the sound is muffled and the speaker aspect must be on for you to hear a caller. Still its mechanics operate. Unbelivable for a simple phone.
