I love TracFone! I am in control of my cell phone expenses with TracFone. They send Happy Birthday specials, text your phone for new deals regarding airtime, and the website is very easy to use. I have never had aproblem with using TracFone and I have been using it for the past four years.… read full review »

Don't let all those post-paid cellphone users give you a complex - the Tracfone is an excellent phone, and for the average user will cost much less than one of those big contracts. — — The phone itself works just fine. It might not have lots of features, but if you have the money for… read full review »

My Nokia phone is easy to us. — I can store 70 phone numbers in the memory of the phone book; with that feature you can search for a number you already put into it. You can add a new number, edit the numbers you already have in there. You can have on touch dialing. Send business cards. — You can erase numbers so that you can make changes. — You have options so that you can find a particular number in a hurry. — You have a prepaid section; Where you can find out how many minutes you have left and the due date of when you have to buy more minutes.… read full review »

I have had this phone for over 2 years and saved a lot of money over having a traditional cell phone carrier. It's not the latest, but it works well. Compared to my firends, I most often have carrier service, I think because Tracfone can use multiple carriers. This means if anyone's cell phoen works, mine will too. — There is no monthly fee, but of course there are no free minutes. Minutes are 10 cents or 5 cents if you buy a doubling card good for the life of the phone. — Some tips: set the keylock function so that the keyboard is locked after a few minutes of inactivity.… read full review »

I didn't think I needed a cell phone but my daughter gave me a Nokia Tracfone to have for emergencies after I was without power or phone sevice for two weeks after  hurricane Katrina damaged our area. I have found it a great source of assurance that I can reach help and contact people when necessary. The Tracfone, which I have had over two years now has been a great thing for me. The cost is reasonable as I make mostly short calls. When I am a way from the house, people can reach me about important matters. When I travel I can call to tell people the plane is late and was surprised that… read full review »

I have had this phone for about two years. I have never had any problems with it. I pretty much always have a signal, even when my friends or family (who paid alot more for their phones and service) don't. This phone has been dropped, thrown, chewed on, stepped on, and much more, but it is still in very good shape. I enjoy having a tracfone because I do not have a monthly bill to worry about. If I run out of minutes, but happen to be broke then, its not a big deal. I am not getting late fees on a bill, or anything like that. When ever I have needed help, tracfones 1-800-number… read full review »

The good: The Motorola U9 offers an attractive design, a decent music player with stereo Bluetooth, and an appealing display. — The bad: The Motorola U9's controls are flat and slippery and its memory card is in an inconvenient location. Its menus can be sluggish and its photo quality is poor. — The bottom line: The Motorola U9 is a mostly reliable music phone with an eye-catching design. We had a few complaints, but it makes up for its deficiencies with good call quality. — Specifications: Band / mode: GSM 800/1900; Talk time: Up to 255 min; Combined with: With digital… read full review »

I use my trac fone for texting mainly, which is .3 of a minute and free to read... The only con I can think of is going thru the 3 letters on the number. And the predictive text doesme no good, being midde aged I do not use the "lingo" that is used today. But as I said for sending and receiving texts, it is very comparable to the other companies. The prepay is a great perk also, you do not get slammed with a huge bill.Great little… read full review »

This Nokia phone is simple, easy to use, no frills - This phone is great if you don't want to use them anyways - no risk of getting charged for things you don't use or need  ;) — This phone is easy to navigate and Cingular gives great rebate- FREE phone ;) — Cons may be that this may not be available any longer, no frills if you want them- cannot add these features later on etc... — … read full review »

It may not have a color screen or fancy features but it works great. I probably charge it once a month, it seems to last forever, probably becuase it doesn't have all the fancy stuff. I have had a tracfone since they came out, because I thought it was cheap!! NOT!! I never get good service there always dropping calls. I call the company for support and they give you a hard time when they can understand you and vice-versa.
