Exactly as promised

I bought a computer speaker set. The description said the box had some damage but the contents were exactly as they had come from the manufacturer. That's exactly what I got, and it's great. Fast delivery, too! Customer Service I didn't have to use the customer service so I don't really know. They did do a great job of communicating when the package was shipped, though. Some places are awful with that. Shipping and Returns The shipping was fast. Since the product was exactly what I wanted and was in great condition, there has been no need to return it so I can't speak to that.

No better deal? Yeah. Right.

I like shopping online and I love finding super great deals. I was hoping that NoBetterDeal.com was going to live up to its name. Unfortunately, it really just didn't. First of all, a lot of their prices are not that great. For example, their Barbie items. My three year old daughter has really been getting into Barbie so I've been trying to find her cool, different Barbie dolls. The prices on NoBetterDeal.com were almost double for the exact same items on Amazon! Also, on Amazon they usually tell you how old the Barbie dolls you're looking at really are. NoBetterDeal.com is selling some old ( ten to fifteen years plus) that as far as I can tell are from some random collectors collection. If you plan to use this site, make sure that you shop around and price check before making any purchases. They may have okay prices on other things, but their Barbie items leave a lot to be desired!

Suspect Credit Card compromised

1

I live on the West coast. I purchased an item from No Better Deal on Feb 18th, 2013. That very same day, my credit card was compromised somehow and someone purchased over $300 from a Safeway that is located on the East Coast within a few hours of No Better Deal's location in Pittsburgh, PA. I called customer service at No Better Deal to try and notify them that there may be a problem with their system or employees or that they may have been hacked or whatever. They were completely unhelpful and wouldn't acknowledge that there could be any problem on their end or that they might be responsible for any issue. I was simply trying to help them out by notifying them that somehow they might be compromised, but they would hear none of it. My advice to people looking to purchase from this site is the same as other reviewers have posted: You get what you pay for. I would never buy from them again because I think their credit card systems have been compromised and they were unresponsive when I tried to talk to them about it.

Deceptively/Fraudulently advertised product

1

I purchased an item from "nobetterdeal.com" website. The product I purchased was very deceptively and fraudulently advertised. I am in the process of starting my own law firm and purchased the Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium version 11.0 from this retailer. The product is still listed on the nobetterdeal.com site and remains very deceptively listed, despite my complaints to them and attempt to address the fraud/consumer issues with them on 12/22/11. There is nowhere in the description any detail informing consumers that the product - a language/dictation software - is in the Spanish language. The entirety of the public listing to consumers makes no mention of this essential fact. I went to download and utilize this product for the first time, only to discover that it is in Spanish. There is some Spanish language and some English on the box itself; however, because this is an "open-box" retailer, I had no reason to suspect the product was not as it appeared upon my initial inspection when I first received it, until I downloaded it and attempted to install it on my new law firm computer on 12/22/2011. I immediately called their 800 number, I was told in rather rude fashion that I could not return the product, because of their strict return policy, despite the fraud & deceptive advertising issues outlined above. I further wrote to this retailer and asked for a refund and that they change the description of this product to more genuinely reflect the very essence of the product and to not mislead other consumers. As of this date, they responded and advised that they have a strict returns policy and simply refused to address my consumer fraud issue. In fact the product continues to be deceptively listed.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!

1

There is something to be said about "you get what you pay for". These items are inexpensive for a reason, most are used. Even those which denote the box is only damaged. We purchased an item which noted damaged box and after examining the explaination, decided it was worth trying. The item was actually USED, arriving dirty and scuffed. STAY AWAY from this vendor and dont waste your money. For few extra dollars more, we regret not getting our item from a more reputable dealer. We want to inform others so they dont make the mistake we did.

They won't believe what u payed!

I found this site a couple months ago thanks to my better homes and gardens magazine. Since then I have been shopping there. So far I've bought lots of kitchen appliences/cookware/silverware and I've bought two ottomans from there to. Keep in mind that u have to fork over the shipping cost for items. The small stuff I buy is usually 5-10$ for shipping but if ur looking to buy furniture from them u need to get a shipping quote. The ottomas I bought cost 35$ a piece but I had go pay 30$ in shipping on top of that, but to me it was still a great deal because $65 was still a great price for an ottoman of that size. On another note they have like 3 diff. quality categories, new, open box and as is. I've only bought open box items and they have all been like new. I'm a lil nervous about trying the as is items since I have to pay for shipping, but maybe some day I'll try them. Eh, probably not :) jus stick with the open box items

Find Best Prices on Everything From Electronics to Baby Items!

My Anti-Spyware needed to be renewed, (I use Norton 360), and I researched the net for the best possible price. I came across this website: no betterdeal.com, and then saw it in the latest Good Housekeeping magazine! The site receives their merchandise from bulk liquidators. No Better Deal has four categories: 1) New- Can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. 2) Open Box- returned by a customer and packaged up to resell. Can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. 3) As Is- Cannot be returned 4) Refurbished- Can be returned within 14 days for full refund. To give you a few examples of savings: I purchased the Norton 360, (with a Promo Code the site gave me) The original price was $81.00, but my final price was $70.81. The purchase was very easy to navigate even with including the Promo Code. I was impressed! Another example of savings the site was offering was: Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo x 2.  The product was new, and originally $74.99. Savings was listed at $25.00, leaving the total price at $49.99! The site offer's a 14 day return policy on all products except the "As-Is" category. The item's listed for sale across the site were plentiful, ranging from Baby Items to Electronics. They offer an e-book to download which explains how the site works, and accept: U.S. issued M.C., Visa, Discover and Paypal. No Better Deal posts Promo Codes on Twitter for free shipping. This site was impressive, a must see if you are an on-line shopper looking for bargain prices!
