I color my hair at home.  It grows so quickly I would be in the salon every 3 weeks and who has time for that?  At least at home I can do laundry, check email, etc. while the color is in.  I read about No Gray Color Additive in a women's magazine and I knew I wanted to try it.  I have very dark brown hair that I color with a light brown dye.  I have some incredibly stubborn gray at the crown and the sides of my face that doesn't yield even when I leave the color on that extra 5 minutes (read 10) as directed.  The No Gray is readily available at drug and grocery stores and I purchased the two application product.  The directions suggest using both of the bottles of additive for stubborn gray so I did.  Very simple to use - just add to the hair color mixture.  I left it on an extra 10 minutes as usual.  After washing and drying my hair, the color was great so the No Gray will not change the color you have chosen.  It also does not cover all of the gray.  I was really disappointed that there was still gray around my face and those grays are not the wiry type. Regardless of the claim that all of these haircolor products make, I think the only way to real cover the gray is with a professional application.
