No Country for Old Men (DVD) —
No Country For Old Men... where do I start?If you're looking for a good action movie and don't mind some good violence, this movie is for you. The actors and actresses do a great job. The music (or lack thereof) sets the tone well. I hear it strays from the book a bit with some things (i.e. the character played by Woody Harrelson in the movie has much more of an important part in the book), but it has been turned into a good screenplay.
The one thing that bothered me? The ending of course. But don't be too disappointed yet. The first time I watched the movie I was left confused and with many questions. But I watched it again and learned the characters' personalities and I knew the answers. I ended up appreciating the ending much more than I thought because it made me think and decide some things for myself. I usually don't enjoy movies that make you think too much or make you write your own ending, but this one was good and again--once I thought about it enough--the end is apparent.
