Greasy and sloppy. Not me, this lip junk!
2 star rating

not happy with this product, suffering from dry lips, always buying lip products, a lip products fanatic
Pros

SPF 4, easy to apply, may hydrate you lips, didn't mine

Cons
greasy, wears off very fast, sloppy, no flavor-no scent, very low SPF, not worth $2.69

Quick View: This is a brand new line from Nivea and, I'm sorry to say, it isn't any better - or even as good - as all the many lip moisturizing products on the market already. It's greasy and feels heavy on my lips.

About Nivea Lip Care A Kiss Of Moisture, Hydrating Lip Care SPF 4

This product comes in a light blue tube with a Chapstick-like appearance. It swivels up to apply. It is white but clear on the lips. There is SPF 4 in it but why did they stop there? I mean, SPF 4 is almost SPF nothing. They could have gone to 15 which would have at least made this product decent in sun for a while.

When I apply it, it feels heavy and greasy, almost like Vaseline. It doesn't absorb and it goes on sloppy because the stick is bigger than my lips. And, in a few minutes, it's gone! I don't know where it goes because it is completely flavorless and fragrance free so I'm not licking my lips or anything.

I am disappointed in the performance of Nivea Lip Care A Kiss Of Moisture, Hydrating Lip Care SPF 4 but Drugstore.com was having a buy one, get one free Nivea Lip Care promotion and the free one, A Kiss of Flavor, is tasty, smells good, and has a pretty tint so I paid for full price for the one I like. I won't use the Kiss of Moisture much because I just don't like the feel on my lips and it doesn't heal or hydrate my lips. Yick.

My Viewpoint

Bypass this one and look at the other Nivea Lip care products. I know A Kiss of Flavor is a better choice. This sells for $2.69 a tube and isn't worth it. It's greasy and sloppy. I'm already sloppy, I don't need to be greasy too! Heh. 2 stars.

I'm getting pretty sick of paying stupid prices for stuff that doesn't work. Although Chap Stick here is up there these days too. I think it's $1.69 or something. Still, I KNOW that works. This other junk is just that.

Well, I sacrifice for you all. lol. I really should wait until I read review before I buy new stuff. But at least this wasn't too expensive.

Personally, I can't imagine *any* lip care product being worth $2.69 --- not when I know there's a whole rack of Chap Stick over at the HEB for just .89 cents a tube!!
