Nissan Xterra - 2004 Review Summary
The 2004 Nissan XTerra is a roomy mid-size SUV that owners have expressed mixed emotions on. The ’04 Nissan XTerra is big and roomy and noted by one reviewer as being “rugged yet classy ride”. However, the Nissan XTerra 2004 is also top heavy and prone to rolling over easily. The Nissan XTerra is a nice vehicle, but not very safe when it comes to the safety ratings. Check a 2007 Nissan XTerra to see if they are more highly recommended.

I inherited this truck-shaped turd from my husband. I actually traded him my Toyota Corolla after one of my friends was in a car wreck and I became nervous about driving my kids around in anything less than an armored tank.
Anyway, my Nissan Xterra kind of reminds me of my aunt: there's always something wrong with her. And it's never anything big, like cancer or foreclosure. It's always something annoying and maybe only moderately worthy of calling up and complaining about (such as someone cutting in line at the post office). It looks good, but for the price i paid (27 thousand plus tax), it did not have enough extras. I have the V-6 and it did not climb hills the way i would have liked, it was very sluggish with not that much pick up. The cup hiolder in the back seat broke really quicklly and we are not even sure how that happened since there is not usually anyone in the back seat.
Also, I hit a deer in the truck going around 45 mph, and it did alot of damange to supposedly a rugged vehicle. i could not even drive the thing home.
