Nissan Altima - Very Bad Experience
daily driver, practical, not rich

I purchased a brand new Altima in 2003 and didn't have many problems at all.  Until February of 2009 when the car was 6 years old and had only 64,000 miles on it.   I took it in to be serviced because the service engine light came on and the the dealership informed me that the engine was shot (blown head gasket, oil in radiator etc.)  I had absoutely no warning because it ran fine.  I took very good care of the car and had service done regularly.  I am very upset by this experience and will never buy another Nissan.

2003 Nissan is a great car, smooth ride and very good on gas.  Some of the interior could be improved on - plastics are a little cheap, but overall its a very comfortable ride.

For the price, the Altima is a reliable, classy vehicle that has never given me a minute of problems. I bought my first Altima in 1993 and my second one in 2003!
