It's time to call in sick, skip that class or break out of jail because there is yet another Legend of Zelda adventure waiting to be played and this time it's on the Nintendo Wii. Not only is this another long quest to save the mystical land of Hyrule from disaster but the game ditches that lame kiddish... read full review »

Let me first start by saying that I have always been a huge Zelda fan since day one. I've played and solved every version of Zelda including this one. Before I go into the things that bothered me about "Twilight Princes," here are some things that I thought the game did very well.

First of all, the...

Title: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
ESRB: Teen
Number of Players:1
Controls: Wii Remote and Nunchuck

LEARNING CURVE

The learning curve is real easy for anyone who is 12 and up. Teaching anyone younger than a teen how to play it is difficult. I should know I have been trying to help my eight-year old niece to play it. She wants to go galloping around on Epona all the time. She ask me for help, but ignores me and this can be a big headache.

This is my college aged daughters favorite game! She will play it constantly I really don't quite get it, but she LOVES it.  It is one of the games that she has loved consistently over the years on each gaming system that we have had.  She has always insisted that this is the one game that is a constant in our inventory of games.  She loves the characthers and has consistantly played it over the years.  I have been surprised that she has even introduced my younger daughther to it, and she is equally entraced with it!  Overall I guess that it has held its attraction to everyone since it is...

I just recently beat it, after hearing 100+ hours of game play. Beat it in just over 32 hours missing only a few items (giant wallet and magic armor.) I will say it has easily the best story of a zelda game yet, and some of the most epic boss fights ive ever seen in a video game, i mean the water temple boss? who else doesnt think that is just down right epic? The replayability of the game is based more on the player, i will definately play it again in a few months to see if i can shave off even more time off my 32 hour time to beat. I think that Link to the Past on the SNES was the best zelda... read full review »

Great game. The whole family loves it and we all work together to play the game. We bought the review books and all take turns playing it.  Its a great way to bring the family together and to build/rebuild connections.  The game is not only physically stimulating, but also it enhances one's critical thinking skills.  My family members are all beginner players and we all can play and enjoy the game, although it may take us longer to beat it.

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii is truely an amazing game. Those of us who are familiar with the Zelda series know that the allure of this game is not only in fun and challanging gameplay, but the thrill of seeing old favorites mixed in with new twists and story. Yes, the story can be slightly predictable at times, but for most die-hard Zelda fans, the storm-the-castle-save-the-princess is what we expect and what we want. I think I speak for most of us when I say this is the crowning jewel in the Zelda collection.

The fresh take on this game includes the Wii-mote gameplay,...

I remember the first time my husband and I played Zelda's Ocarina of Time and we were fully engroseed for a good couple months and were very satisfied when we finally finished the quest.  By the time we had finally finished Twilight Princess, we both looked at each other with a bit of disappointment.  Let me recount some of the good and bad things regarding this Wii version of Zelda.

First of all, the amount of gameplay and the sheer size of the world is pretty amazing.  I was amazed that we had played for a good 7 hours and had only scratched the surface of how vast the game is.  That being...

Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was a game that worried me originally.  After such a stellar and beloved game as "Ocarina of Time", I didn't think they could ever make me love Link and Zelda as much again- WHOA was I wrong.

Twilight Princess has beautiful graphics, the same great music we've got to expect from the series and a solid game!  Once again, Link is out to save the world.  We meet some old familiar characters, such as Epona, the beloved (and so much fun to ride) horse, but we throw a new twist in to the mix- Link turns WOLF?

I think this twist is the most fascinating-...

The gameplay is fantastic. The world map is massive map even if you were to ride on horseback, it would take you a LONG to get all the across.  Legend of Zelda video games are all about adventure, and Twilight Princess gives the player a massive world to do all of the adventuring one could handle in a video game. The world is full of caves, towns, and dungeons to explore as well as lakes, forests, deserts, and mountains.  This game can get very frustrating at times. Some of these puzzles are just insane! If you are a puzzle master, then this will be right up your alley. Otherwise, it can get...

A word of caution: do not begin The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess unless your REALLY mean it!  Once the game is begun, you will be hooked, spending large chunks of time playing until the game is complete.  And if you're someone who absolutely MUST complete every bit of the game...that could take awhile!

Twilight Princess for the Wii makes excellent use of the unique Wii controls: the different fighting techniques take little time to learn, but they feel natural and add a great deal of enjoyment to the game.  Swing with the Remote to attack with your sword; jam forward with the Nunchuk to...

Amazing game in almost every aspect.  The gameplay is made for the Nintendo Wii.  It really shows off what the motion controls can do.  The World is large and the story carries you through the game very well.  It's easy to learn how to wield your sword and learn new attack combinations gradually.  The graphics are not nearly as good as games for other modern consoles, but they are the best you can get on the Wii System.  I've stayed up many nights trying to just finish the next quest and then being so entralled that I needed to start a new one.  The soundtrack is great.  It has all the...

The Legend of Zelda: Twlight Princess is a great return to form for the classic brand - it's much more Ocarina of Time than Wind Waker and the story's really well done.  Love the large world and many characters and multi-layered plot.  Plus the use of the Wii controls to actually sword fight as Link are too fun (wish I was better at those "Special Attacks" though!)

I feel as though I may have expected better graphics from the Wii, but everything is very bright and colorful and the differnet areas of Hyrule are very distinctive in appearance. LOVE the ability to become a wolf, and love how...

A Nintendo fan favorite, the latest installement in the Zelda saga does not disappoint.

A flawless storyline provides 10 hours+ of challenging gameplay, along with many more hours of additional side-plots and minigames.

Somewhat of a new twist to Link is the ability to transform into a wolf. This form gives unique powers including an extra sense, the ability to dash, and powerful feral attacks. Also new to the saga is the lovable Midna. Although she can't really be described as anything we know of, she comes from a blend of technology and "the Twilight" and has become attached to Link.

Throughout...

Despite the even higher hopes I had for this game after seeing how awesome Wind Waker was, it greatly exceeded my expectations!! The graphics were excellent, and the game pulled little (The Best) pieces of Majora's Mask, Ocarina Of Time, and Wind Waker to make the story one of my favorites. Having played Wind Waker before, the controls were an easy pickup, and I didn't feel that control was limited not having the Wii. With over 60 hours of amazing gameplay, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet adventure. (even one who has never played Zelda before) A great game overall, and one of the... read full review »
