Nintendo Wii - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess —

Title: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
ESRB: Teen
Number of Players:1
Controls: Wii Remote and Nunchuck

LEARNING CURVE

The learning curve is real easy for anyone who is 12 and up. Teaching anyone younger than a teen how to play it is difficult. I should know I have been trying to help my eight-year old niece to play it. She wants to go galloping around on Epona all the time. She ask me for help, but ignores me and this can be a big headache.

GAMEPLAY

Many new characters are introduced, your character gets a horse, which makes getting around the World of Hyrule easy. When in Twilight you play as Wolf Link. Each level of Zelda is filled with unique and interesting characters and enemies. The weapons each have a new flare to them and really haven’t deviated from the Zelda format. My favorite feature is being able to warp in and out of the levels and keep my place in the dungeon. The puzzles are interesting and can keep you busy for hours.

GRAPHICS

As for graphics this is the best Zelda so far. The Zelda games have come so far graphics-wise from the first Zelda to Windwaker and now this.

MUSIC

Zelda Twilight Princess’s music is taken from about every Zelda game ever made, but also comes up with new music as well. Most of the music is taken from Ocarina of Time. There are some games where I never really care to hear the soundtrack or it gets tiresome. Zelda Twilight Princess is not one of those games.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT:

There is only two minor things that really disappoints me. First of all since Zelda came out there has been little to no voice acting with the text dialog. Secondly, there is only three save slots reverting back to the original Zelda. I would love to see a multiplayer Zelda too. The sumo wrestling and goat herding were fun minigames, unfortunately I would like to do these things more than one or two times.

SUMMARY:

Over all, Zelda Twilight Princess is worth the money. It strengths overpower its weaknesses. The puzzles and mini-games make the game fun and interesting. Each mini-game has a reason. Zelda Twilight Princess keeps its continuity with its music, graphics, weapons, items and gameplay.
