Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games is quite a fun ride. The games uses many variations of motion and button combinations of the Wii remote and nunchuck attachment. the first event i tried was table tennis. It was challenging yet once you catch on it's easy to beat. I tried the track events and... review »

We look to get the Wii games that require more movement and activity.  Olympic Games has you waving your arms and jumping up and down.  It has us all laughing at each other!  I do like the game overall, but some of the events are confusing and difficult to play.  It is very difficult for younger... review »

Have you ever been so excited about a game that you decided to play it for 12 hours straight?  Yeah, that's what happened after I recieved Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games as a gift.

The events on this Wii game are great: rowing, gymnastics, table tennis, etc. To advance in the game, you have to beat circuits, which can help you unlock new events.

Some events are special and very unrealistic.  These are called "Dream" events.  For example, in Dream Table Tennis you can do a special attack.  If you are being Mario, when you do your special attack, your paddle will be on fire when you...

Say what you will about the gameplay, but that's a pretty solid list of characters to pick from.

One of the game's big draws is that it lets you use characters from the Mario and Sonic universes. From the Mario side you can select Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Bowser, Daisy, Yoshi, or Peach. From the Sonic side you can play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Blaze, Vector, Dr. Eggman, or Shadow. You can even use your Mii if you so choose. Each character is rated in a number of categories, but these ratings don't seem to matter much, if at all. Though there's no online play, the game tracks records...

The game, Nintendo Wii- Olympic Games, with Sonic and Mario is a great game that requires you to get up off the couch and have fun.  Most games are good for multiple players and some are just fun to watch other's play.  Most games are best with the Wii remote and the nunchuk, but can be played with just the remote.  Many of the games are a good mix of being physically demanding and requireing skill.  Nintendo Wii - Olympic Games is fun to play for adults and is not so hard that kids cannot figure it out and have fun too.  The game is very clean and great for the whole family.  There are...

I think the game is very well balance its music forme is pretty good i also like the graphics that are display but i think  the title was pretty much rush to get it out on the market  that they could have done more amazing things do to the fact that it is a sport ghe chance to at the game.  what i didn't like is that the game controls are some kind of hard to master them right away. may of the game included in the mario and sonic olympics are some sort of dumb. One good thing is that there are a lo of events and you will not get board so easy  cause you will have the chance to switch from...

This Nintento Wii game Olympic Games will never get boring u can do so many different games and unlock cool characters. If back in 1990 you had told either a Nintendo or Sega fanboy that both Mario and Sonic would be appearing together in a game in 2007, they would have told you that you were completely insane. Well, the unthinkable has happened, and the once fierce rivals are now together for the first time in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. It's too bad that this isn't the great platforming game an entire generation has been dreaming of since the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega...

I'd been contemplating this game in stores and decided to rent it before buying as I was still unsure--what a great surprise! My family found this game incredibly fun and entertaining, from young (7) to old (50 something...) everyone enjoyed it. The game has new things to unlock--new challenges, games, and circuits, but doesn't explain how to unlock them. New levels do keep in interesting, and the characters are fun and interactive. A great use of Wii technology, the controls are sensitive to real movements but not so delicate that you have to be a great gamer to succeed. Also, a great arm... review »

The game Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games can be played by all age groups.  A game for the entire family.  You can also get a far workout depending on the event your playing.

The game includes pretty much any summer Olympic game you could think of including swimming, fencing, track and field events, table tennis, archery, and skeet shooting.  Competitive as you try to break world and Olympic records.

Wii's Mario and Sonic Olympic Games video game is not easy to learn. I am an adult, 35 years old, and am having difficulty learning how to play the games. It takes lots of coordination and accuracy. Not recommended for children under 10.

On a happy note, the graphics are way cool! Once I get the hang of this game, I am sure I will enjoy it. But for now, I play a little bit, get disgusted, take a break (like a day), and try again.

The Olympic Games for Wii is great.   My kids are really enjoying it and seem to have a better understanding of the vaious Olympic events than I did as a kid. Theyhave learned about all of the events, not only the events that get televised.  It is also nice because it keeps them moving on a rainy day in the house.  I don't normally like video games but this one is a definite "yes" in  my book.

Wait for this game to drop in price!

We borrowed this game from some friends and have played it for the weekend.  My husband and I agree that the game is fun, but not worth the $49.00 price tag.  This game will be a better value at the 20-30$$ price point.

Save your extra $$ for your physical therapy bill!

Odds are you will be soar in the morning :)

The game is really fun and challenging if you try for the online records.  The world records of all players are available online which makes the game alot more fun and challenging.

It really can be a workout for you if you are out of shape as many of the events require you to pump your arms or move quickly!  Its a great party game for many people!

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is a great game for a few reasons.  There are alot of different events to compete in which keep the game fresh longer.  Some events are  harder than others.  Some events will leave you sore the next day.  All and all I would recommend this game if you are looking to play with other people.
