easier than using regular controllers, absolutely stunning visuals, immersive controls, good use of the Wii-mote

Cons

was a seemingly short game, no multiplayer, The game can be a bit too easy., some doors don't open right away

Nintendo Wii - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption —

This game was simply stunning. Atleast to me, it was. When I first heard it was coming out, i flocked to the store to buy it as quickly as possible. In this first review I've ever written, I will hopefully help you in your decision on this game.

GRAPHICS(9-10/10)- the graphic in this game were amazing. You first start out in the ship and you start to think that it doesn't look very good. After you get the ability to visit other places, your thought will change. The different regions had their own special feature that trully made them shine. The only reason I included the 9-10 is the fact that a Wii game will not look as good as a XBOX360 or PS3 game will. its only a fact of life.

SOUNDS(8/10)- The sounds/audio was very good but I was nothing to admire either. It had some of the classic songs and alot of new ones but myself personally wasn't impressed. It guns/weapons did sound very good but not enough to get a perfect score.(personally I don't really care how the game sounds because I'm usually playing with little to no sound)

CONTROLS(10/10)- I gave controls a 10/10 because I think the WIIMOTE was used to the best of it's ability. In the game use point at the screen to aim or turn. This make it much easier to play than using a controller. Also, it is the reason I rated the dificulty so easy. I think this was one of the best aspects of this game.

STORY(7/10)- I rated the story a 7/10 because it was very basic. A meeting commences on a ship, space pirates invade the computers, then the ship, and then you are sent on your way to investigate as usual. Really it wasn't horrible or anything and it was a solid story but nothing really stuck out to me.

OVERALL(9/10)- Although my scores don't average to 9, I think most people will agree that some categories are more important than others. As an example, I care much more about controls than I care about story.

BUY OR RENT- If your a metroid like myself it is a no brainer. BUY IT. Really I would advise everyone to buy it. Not because of Metroid or anything but because it is a really great game. If you are hesitant about buying, I would at the least RENT IT.
