Most HelpfulI am in love with our Nintendo Wii. My husband is more of a playstation person, but I have always been a Nintendo fan. I just never really got into the shooting and killing games, I like my cartoons and puzzle games. So naturally, I had to get a Wii right when they came out. Since I...

Most HelpfulI think it's ironic that I'm reviewing yet another Mario game on Viewpoints here especially in the last one I really complained a lot about the weak visuals and lack of depth, eh? OK, I don't want to drop the hammer just yet so I'll give it a chance. Ever since the Mario Party series got its start...
review »I love Mario Party 8. Seriously. I'm the superstar.
The game is pretty basic. You have a board and you try to make it to the end -- wherever that may be -- collecting stars along the way. Whichever player has the most stars at the end wins the game.
After every roll and each of the four players has advanced, there are mini-games, which really utilize the wiimote [[also known as the control]]. You can play one-on-one; two-on-two; free for all; or a bonus game where you win coins and no one loses. Those games are really fun because you're never sure what game is coming up and you really get to...
review »Our family loves this game. Our entire family can play this game and have fun. My son is age 5 and can play most of the mini games without help. My daughter is age 3 and has difficulty on some of the mini games but still loves it. The game is like a board game where you hit the die and move around on the board. The kids love it because they can do it all by themselves. The mini games are a mix of slightly difficult to very easy. Some of the games just involve shaking the remote which is so much fun for the kids. When the winner is announced at the end it is always a suprise because...
review »This is one of my favorite games for the Wii. I get bored easily with long games that you really have to concentrate on, but having the majority of this game made up of fun little mini-games keeps me entertained.
My husband and I will occasionally have a couple of drinks and laugh hysterically as we play Wario and Waluigi... whether those two are as funny/creepy sober, I do not know...
The games range from easy to pretty difficult. There is one that involves a monkey and a tree (I think... did I mention we usually play this after drinking?!?) and it is rediculously hard. Its generally the only...
review »I have always been a fan of Mario party and Nintendo Wii - Mario Party 8 delivers again! This is a great game to play with a bunch of people or even by yourself. The several game boards are unique and each have their own twist on how the game is played. In one board the stars are always moving, while on another board you buy property to earn stars.
In Nintendo Wii - Mario Party 8, the mini-games have a nice variety and are super fun. The game definitely takes advantage of the way the Wii remotes capture the player's motion. Whether you are pulling carrots from a garden or scrubbing paint...
