This 1 or 2 player game lets you play through all 6 sagas of the Star Wars series simultaneously, so if you get stuck on one level in one you can play a different saga for a change of pace.  The graphics are great--all lego--and there are lots of hidden features beyond the basic levels to keep you coming back for more.  In the initial play, your character is selected automatically according to the original Star Wars script, but you can switch back and forth between all characters on the level as needed.  For instance, the jedi use the force to move and assemble objects, but don't have guns and it can be easier to fight as Luke or Leah.  R2D2 or C3PO can't defend themselves, but are needed to open gates or work electronics--just like in the original series.  After the saga is complete, it can be accessed by any unlocked character--including Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Palpatine, Ewoks...

For those who worry about its appropriateness for young kids, there is no graphic violence--hitting an opposing character only breaks them into small lego pieces :o)

Also, you can wield your light saber Wii style by flailing madly--which is just plain cool--but as your arm would fall off in two minutes, you can use the buttons to control your weapon as well.  Requires a nunchuck and remote controller for each player.
