The game itself is absolutely AMAZING. I gave it 5-stars, but honestly I'd only give it a 4½-stars. The songs are great, but there are a few things keeping this game from being a 5-star game. Guitar battles in my opinion absolutely ruin the game, in career mode anyway. Another thing that sucks is that you can't play the guitar battle songs (from career mode) by themselves (as an actual song, not a guitar battle). I was VERY disappointed and quite annoyed when "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" was only a guitar battle and I couldn't play it without playing it as a battle.
The game also lacks "fun" songs, like "Less Talk More Rokk" by Freezepop, for those of you that played Guitar Hero 2. I think the game kind of makes up for it with songs like "My Name is Jonas", which has extremely fun hammer-on sections on Expert, "Cliffs of Dover", which is a pretty fun song, especially the beginning hammer-on part, and "Through The Fire And Flames", which is a very hard song, but it's damn addicting.
Also, if you get the bundle package (game and guitar), you might want to keep in mind that although I completely fell in love with the guitar, it's got a great feel to it and the whammy bar hasn't gotten loose like my X-Plorer from GH2 did, the removeable neck completely ruins it. Because of the neck, some of the fret buttons will just randomly stop working until you mess a little with the neck, to get the connectors to touch correctly again.
