Guitar Hero III is an excellent game.  This game has been a hit at every party we've held this year, and people prefer it over Guitar Hero II.  It is easy to jump into, even if you have never played it before.  With several levels of difficulty a newbie can have just as much fun as a seasoned player - and you won't get called a geek for playing this game well.  In addition to the multiplayer, the "career mode" is a fun one player option.  The only problem with this game is the requirement for multiple "guitar" controllers if you want to do multiplayer (we've gotten around this problem by borrowing controllers).  You can play with a standard controller, but it just isn't the same.
