I am probably the most musically challenged person you would find and my fiance can play any instrument he picks up. His favorite instrument? guitar, of course.
When I first heard that Guitar Hero III was coming out for the Wii I told him we had to get it. It would be fun and maybe I could get some practice at keeping time. He thought it would be lame and that guitar hero would be for people who don't want to take the time to learn to play the real thing. I told it he was probably right and so it would be perfect for me.
When we got the game and I picked the name for my band, picked my character, and did the tutorial. My fiance was watching when I got booed off the stage playing the first song. (I have gotten better, by the way) We had a great laugh. We really like the music and he decided that he would be willing to try this game. He even admitted to me that it was a little fun.
I came home late from work a couple nights later and heard the music from outside. I got in just in time to see a power jump from the couch. wow. I guess everyone lets their inner rockstar out sometime.
He has since flew through the easy, passed the medium and is into the hard section now. but as for me, I just passed the easy section, barely beating Lou. This game lets anyone who wants to try be a ROCKSTAR, even if you can't really keep a beat. my coordination has definately improved, but we'll see how it goes with the next level.
