The Guitar Hero series has only been around for a few years dudes and dudettes but these rocking games has been kicking so much a$$ that their legs are getting sore from all the beatings they been dishing out. Now we are officially up to part III in this wicked cool virtual guitar playing simulator here and it even comes for the Nintendo Wii for the first time ever too, baby! It's time to rip off that business suit or Hawaii shirt and put on some tightass leather and see if this old cougar can still rock your world, yeah!

If you are new to this GHit, well first off let me say where the hell have you been? Anyway you play this game you need the Wii guitar and the Wii-mote to start yourself up. The weird thing is you have to stick the Wii-mote inside the Wii-tar and then you're good to go. You can even get some audio play back coming from the controller too which is pretty damn cool. The game play reminds the same too because you try to hit the note with the buttons on the Wii-tar kind of like a game of Dance Dance Revolution but less wussy ya know.

The graphics look about the same as past editions but they still kickass. You can't create your characters but you can still mess around with all the pre-selectable ones and you can even unlock real life guitar legends like Slash from Velvet Revolver too. How F'N cool is that!? Oh crap, we can't forget the music either especially with great tracks from the Rolling Stones (Painted Black), Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, KISS (Rock and Roll All Night), Alice Cooper (School's Out) and many more from the huge list of 70 here.

Now if anyone seen my past reviews on the game will know I'm a huge fan of EA's Rock Band too. The thing is there are two big problems with that game though. First off a complete package is super expensive since you're getting all that equipment and secondly here, where the hell is the Wii version? The Wii is easily the most popular gaming system right now but has I'm writing this down there is still no Rock Band for the Wii yet and that's total bullcrap. My guess is EA is reluctant to release it since that Boogie game bombed on the Wii but of course nobody got it because that was a piece of Sh$%! OK, enough of that rant and back to Guitar Hero III here. The game has some great music in it as always and the new modes help this red-light girl earn more cash at the end of the night. It's nothing too different from past releases but it still wins four hot groupies out of five.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock overall rating: 81/100

For 1 or 2 players
Rated (T) for Teen
graphics: 6/10
sound:  9/10
gameplay: 8/10
replay: 8/10

No, be proud of that. Sadly the kids do get better though just to warn ya, eh?

I totally kick my kid's butt at this game! I don't know if I should be proud of that, or embarrassed. :-)
