Our game disk (for my 9-year-old for Christmas) stopped working after three days.  I examined the back of the disk, and found a small bump (almost like a tiny pimple).  Tried it in other WII's, same problem.  No scratches, just the bump. But, since I pre-ordered the game (so I could have it for Christmas) neither GameStop nor Activision (or Red Octane, the manufacturer) will replace it, since it's outside of the warranty.    Sad.  Also, the game advertises stereo sound, but the game disk is only mono!!!    Supposedly, replacement disks will be available "in early 2008". Sorry, that's not much help when my youngster is as disappointed as he is now.  I'm not very impressed with Activision (also had problems with the Xbox 360 version, but that's a different problem and review!)

Yeah, but a lesson learned, right? I will say that they were very quick in sending out the replacement. Gotta give them credit for that!

thats good and bad....$25 for a replacement that they should have covered. Hard to fight the big companies sometimes. good luck. Ron

thanks...at least his big brother lets him play his copy (sometimes). After multiple emails, I got a response back from Activision, and I have since ordered a replacement disk to the tune of $25.00. Still beats buying the whole game again...stay tuned, folks, we'll see how long it takes to arrive!

even after explaining you had to pre-order it?? Now that is just not right at all. Sorry you had a hard time with them, my son got one and his is fine. Ron
